The Amprobe AM-570 is the best multimeter in its class designed for professional electricians and HVAC technicians who need to maintain, service or troubleshoot advanced electrical systems in the most demanding environments. Packed full of features such as True RMS, dual thermocouples for taking differential temperature measurements, a low impedance function to detect stray voltage, and a low pass filter to accurately take measurements on variable frequency drives, the Amprobe AM-570 Digital Multimeter allows for quick go/no-go checks without the need for an additional tool. Multimeters are indispensable electrical test meters that measure multiple properties of an electrical circuit, such as current, voltage, resistance, capacitance, and continuity. The AM-570 can be used to diagnose electrical problems in electrical equipment, wiring, and power supplies. With the included temperature thermocouples and test leads, this multimeter can be connected to a circuit or device to measure its electrical or performance properties to confirm functionality. Factors that influence meter choice include the electrical properties to be measured, the anticipated range of results, and the desired level of protection against transient voltage. This multimeter has been designed for use in industrial environments to test voltages up to 1000V and 10A. This meter is rated Category IV/600V, Category III/1000V. Safety ratings are based on International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards for low-voltage test equipment. In general, a meter with a category IV rating will provide more protection against transient voltages than a meter with a lower category rating. PACKED WITH FEATURES: The Amprobe AM-570 Industrial Digital Multimeter with True RMS is a digital multimeter that measures AC/DC voltage to 1,000V, AC/DC current to 10A, frequency to 60 MHz, resistance to 60 megaohms, capacitance to 60 millifarads, and temperature from -40 to +1832 degrees F (-40 to +1000 degrees C). It also performs audible continuity tests and diode tests. WHAT IS TRUE-RMS METER?: True RMS (root mean square) meter provides accurate readings when measuring linear loads, such as standard induction motors and incandescent lights, where the current or voltage has an undistorted waveform, or nonlinear loads, such as electronic devices or motors, where the current or voltage has a distorted waveform. NON-CONTACT VOLTAGE DETECTION ENHANCES SAFETY: The AM-570 features a built-in flashlight to see wires and fuses in the dark, a rubber tilt stand and probe holder to give you the 'third-hand' you need while taking measurements.

All returns must be authorized. Items returned prior to authorization will not be accepted. For international customers where applicable, customers must ship any returns to us freight and duty prepaid. Return freight charges for internationsl shippments will be the responsibility of the customer.
Defective new equipment may be returned for warrantyrepair/exchange to us within (5) days of the shipment receipt date. After five (5) days, returns will be handled by direct contact and in accordance with the warranty terms of the item's manufacturer. Items that have malfunctioned due to mishandling, electrical overload, etc., will be subject to repair charge.
Non defective new equipment will be authorized for return within five (5) days of the shipment receipt date if the equipment is still in new, re-sellable condition with the original manual(s), accessories, packing material and carton. We reserve the right to reject returnsin which there is no original packaging, missing accessories, damage or visible signs of usage of the item. A restocking fee of up to 25% of purchase price may apply. Special orders and dangerous goods are non-returnable.

We can ship to both US and Canada. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
