Features
Video and Pictures
The General Gen-Eye 3 sewer camera can display both the video feed from the rod on the Command Module’s 7” LCD screen as well as record it to an USB flash drive. The adjustable mount lets you set the monitor for the best viewing angle, wherever you’re working. The Command Module provides a one-touch button for recording video and capturing images. In addition, the GXP-500 Command Module has two sets of buttons for rotating the picture, snapping an image, and recording video allowing the scope to be operated by either hand.
This Gen-Eye X-POD Plus excels at making video capture easy during the inspection process. Easy video playback, photo display, and LED dimmer control produce the best picture with the right amount of light. This scope helps pros find and assess clogs quickly and easily.
With the Gen-Eye sewer camera, pros can capture video with a date and time stamp and record their spoken commentary over the video. So that documenting and inspection and presenting the finding to customers has never been easier.
Audio
The Gen-Eye X-Pod Plus includes an internal microphone so you can add commentary to a video. The microphone is “live” and records while videoing the sewer lines. Audio recording can be played back either through the Command Module’s speaker or by attaching an earphone into the audio jack on the left side of the monitor.
Data Storage and Power
The Gen-Eye X-Pod Plus SL-GXP-F helps pros avoid coming up short on either power or storage space for video and photos. The Command Module displays both the remaining flash drive capacity as well as the amount of charge left in the internal battery.
Gen-Pack Battery Adapter
The Gen-Pack Battery Adapter lets you operate your sewer inspection camera in remote locations where access to power is limited. The battery is not included, but the battery adapter is compatible with the Milwaukee M18 battery or equivalent. Battery life depends on the type of battery used, system settings, air temperature, and other factors. The battery adapter is protected by a 3A fuse.
Distance Counter
The on-screen distance counter shows how far the camera has traveled down a line in either feet or meters. Settings can be adjusted for full size or mini-reel configurations for optimal accuracy.
Wi-Fi Transmitter
The internal Wi-Fi Transmitter allows you to monitor and record inspections as well as send them to a job or customer via your smartphone or tablet using the General Pipe free app.
Reel Capacity and Features
The Gen-Eye SL-GXP-F includes a SL-GL-200 reel with 200 feet of Gel-Rod® for inspecting 3” to 10” drain lines. This reel is built with a full-size self-leveling color camera.
The reel features ten inch wheels for easy transport to and from the job. The tough steel frame can be operated vertically or horizontally, so professionals can handle nearly any job.
Gel-Rod® Push Rods
This Gen-Eye X-POD Plus kit comes with 200’ feet of Gen-Eye’s patented Gel-Rod push rod. Gel-Rod is designed to withstand tough abuse in the line for a long service life. This cable contains gel that protects the wires from moisture in case the cable is cut or abraded. Gel-Rod cable also features a Kevlar® braid, fiberglass core, and durable sheath. These features provide both the stiffness and protection required for maximum pushing and pulling force.
Also, the Gel-Rod cable is constructed with two different colored layers. The dual colors makes cable wear instantly detectable, and alerts plumbers to repair the damage before it becomes a serious problem.
Skids for Camera Protection and Optimal Viewing
This Gen-Eye X-POD Plus sewer camera inspection kit comes with skids for 2", 3" and 6" lines that protect the camera from abrasion as it slides through cast iron traps. The skids also keep the camera centered within the pipe for better viewing and they reduce the drag on the cable on longer runs.
Expand Inspection Capabilities with the Hot Spot Locator
The General Gen-Eye X-POD camera assembly includes a 512Hz transmitter, for use with the Gen-Eye Hot Spot Locator. When the GXP-500 Command Module is turned on, the transmitter is automatically activated.
Gen-Eye Hot Spot GL-100 Digital Pipe Locator
The Gen-Eye Hot-Spot pipe locator is designed to locate buried pipes and cables. Its total field antenna array and on-screen icons help you quickly locate inspection cameras, sondes, active power lines, and utility lines with pinpoint accuracy. The Gen-Eye Gl-100 locates two sonde frequencies, two power frequencies and four line frequencies (with external transmitter) to assist your specific locating needs.
The easy-to-see auto backlight LCD shows you the way with arrows that point you in the right direction every time. Check for active power lines before you dig by switching from hot spot to power location.
The Hot Spot pipe locator is the industry’s most rugged locator. Rated at IP65, the GL100 pipe locator is dust-proof, dirt-proof, and water-resistant and passes the one-meter drop test while the screen passes the 18” steel ball drop test.

When you place an order, a flat-rate shipping charge will be applied at checkout based on your order. The applicable rate will be clearly displayed before you complete your purchase.
Flat-rate shipping is calculated to reflect the cost of reliable, insured delivery. The rate shown at checkout is final — no hidden surcharges will be added after your order is placed.
For certain items, shipping costs are calculated based on the weight of the product. The weight of any weight-based item is listed on its product detail page.
For example, an item weighing 3.2 lbs will be rated at 4 lbs for shipping calculation purposes. This policy is standard practice across all major carriers we work with.

Orders are processed on business days (Monday through Friday, excluding statutory holidays). Orders placed after business hours or on weekends will begin processing the following business day.
You are entitled to cancel your Order within 30 days of receipt without providing a reason, subject to the processing fee structure described below.
The cancellation deadline is 30 days from the date on which you received the Goods, or on which a third party appointed by you (other than the carrier) takes possession of the delivered product.

A processing fee of 10% of the total order value will be withheld from your refund to cover payment processing, handling, and administrative costs.
If we cancel your order due to item unavailability, no processing fee will be withheld. You receive a full refund of the amount paid.
Refunds will be issued using the same payment method as the original purchase. No additional fees beyond those described above will be applied.

You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning Goods to us. Before sending any items, please contact us at info@equiptestpro.com to obtain the return shipping address.
You should expect to receive your refund within four (4) weeks of delivering your return package to the shipper. In many cases, refunds are processed sooner. The timeline breaks down as follows:
We will process refunds no later than 14 days from the day we receive the returned Goods, using the same payment method as your original purchase.
If the Goods were marked as a gift at the time of purchase and shipped directly to you, a gift credit equal to the return value (less any applicable processing fee) will be issued. Once the returned product is received and inspected, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the Goods were not marked as a gift at purchase, or if the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves first, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.

Defective new equipment may be returned for warrantyrepair/exchange to us within (5) days of the shipment receipt date. After five (5) days, returns will be handled by direct contact and in accordance with the warranty terms of the item's manufacturer. Items that have malfunctioned due to mishandling, electrical overload, etc., will be subject to repair charge.
Non defective new equipment will be authorized for return within five (5) days of the shipment receipt date if the equipment is still in new, re-sellable condition with the original manual(s), accessories, packing material and carton. We reserve the right to reject returnsin which there is no original packaging, missing accessories, damage or visible signs of usage of the item. A restocking fee of up to 25% of purchase price may apply. Special orders and dangerous goods are non-returnable.
(Do not write anytingon the manufacturer's original package or use as a shipping carton. Include all accessories, manuals and warranties.)
