Makita is expanding the line of cordless outdoor power equipment, and the system includes the 36V (18V X2) LXT® 21 Lawn Mower Kit (XML10CT1). With zero emissions, lower noise and reduced maintenance, the Mower is a welcome solution for efficient grass cutting. It has an efficient 36V brushless motor powered by two 18V LXT batteries, and the battery bay will hold four LXT batteries for extended run time (up to 40 minutes of run time on a single charge using four LXT 4.0Ah batteries). The Makita-built motor delivers up to 3,000 RPM. The mower offers ease-of-use features including quick height adjustments, a 2 bushel capacity grass collector, and folding handles for compact storage. For added versatility it has a 3-in-1 design that allows for mulching, bagging or rear discharge. The Lawn Mower features Makita Extreme Protection Technology (XPT). XPT is a protective seal inside the tool, and is engineered for improved operation in harsh conditions by channeling water and dust from key internal components. It also features IPX4 weather-resistant construction for durability and long life. Its part of Makitas expanding 18V LXT system, the worlds largest cordless tool system powered by 18V lithium-ion slide-style batteries. Makita 18V batteries have the fastest charge times in their categories, so they spend more time working and less time sitting on the charger. For improved tool performance and extended battery life, Makita created Star Protection Computer Controls. Star Protection is communication technology that allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions during use to protect against overloading, over-discharging and overheating. For increased versatility, the tool can also be powered by Makita 18V LXT and Compact Lithium-Ion batteries with the star symbol on the battery indicating Star Protection inside.
All returns must be authorized. Items returned prior to authorization will not be accepted. For international customers where applicable, customers must ship any returns to us freight and duty prepaid. Return freight charges for internationsl shippments will be the responsibility of the customer.
Defective new equipment may be returned for warrantyrepair/exchange to us within (5) days of the shipment receipt date. After five (5) days, returns will be handled by direct contact and in accordance with the warranty terms of the item's manufacturer. Items that have malfunctioned due to mishandling, electrical overload, etc., will be subject to repair charge.
Non defective new equipment will be authorized for return within five (5) days of the shipment receipt date if the equipment is still in new, re-sellable condition with the original manual(s), accessories, packing material and carton. We reserve the right to reject returnsin which there is no original packaging, missing accessories, damage or visible signs of usage of the item. A restocking fee of up to 25% of purchase price may apply. Special orders and dangerous goods are non-returnable.

We can ship to both US and Canada. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will charge a flat rate shipping for your items.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
