Makita is expanding the line of cordless outdoor power equipment with the 18V LXT® Brushless Cordless 20" Articulating Pole Hedge Trimmer, Tool Only (XNU01Z). The 18V LXT Cordless 20 Articulating Pole Hedge Trimmer is a welcome solution for professional hedge trimming because there are no pull starts, zero emissions, lower noise, and reduced maintenance. Enjoy up to 80 minutes of run time using a fully charged 18V LXT 5.0Ah Battery (sold separately). Six angle settings offer 115-degrees of working range. The XNU01Z is ideal for efficient trimming of overhead and low-lying hedges. The 20 dual-action double-sided shear blade provides optimal performance. The BL Brushless Motor delivers up to 4,400 SPM for faster cutting. It has three speed options (2,000/3,600/4,400). The commercial-duty gear case is engineered for improved durability in daily professional use. Makita's Extreme Protection Technology (XPT) is a protective seal inside the tool. It is designed to improve a tools operation in harsh conditions by channeling water and dust from key internal components. For improved tool performance and extended battery life, Makita created Star Protection Computer Controls. Star Protection is communication technology that allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions during use to protect against overloading, over-discharging and overheating. For increased versatility, the tool can also be powered by Makita® 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Batteries with the star symbol on the battery indicating Star Protection inside. Its part of Makitas expanding 18V LXT System, the worlds largest cordless tool system powered by 18V lithium-ion slide-style batteries. All returns must be authorized. Items returned prior to authorization will not be accepted. For international customers where applicable, customers must ship any returns to us freight and duty prepaid. Return freight charges for internationsl shippments will be the responsibility of the customer.
Defective new equipment may be returned for warrantyrepair/exchange to us within (5) days of the shipment receipt date. After five (5) days, returns will be handled by direct contact and in accordance with the warranty terms of the item's manufacturer. Items that have malfunctioned due to mishandling, electrical overload, etc., will be subject to repair charge.
Non defective new equipment will be authorized for return within five (5) days of the shipment receipt date if the equipment is still in new, re-sellable condition with the original manual(s), accessories, packing material and carton. We reserve the right to reject returnsin which there is no original packaging, missing accessories, damage or visible signs of usage of the item. A restocking fee of up to 25% of purchase price may apply. Special orders and dangerous goods are non-returnable.

We can ship to both US and Canada. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will charge a flat rate shipping for your items.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
