The Makita 18V X2 LXT® (36V) Brushless 1-1/8 AVT® Rotary Hammer is a cordless concrete solution thats loaded with advanced engineering for maximum efficiency and convenient dust extraction. Its powered by two 18V LXT® batteries and an efficient brushless motor for maximum power, speed and run-time for corded demands, without the cord. X2 LXT technology delivers up to 140 ½ x 2-3/8 holes per charge when using two 18V LXT 5.0Ah batteries. The Rotary Hammer includes an OSHA Table 1 compliant on-board dust extractor attachment with filter-cleaning mechanism designed to maintain optimum suction efficiency. The trigger-activated dust extractor is powered by a separate motor which increases suction efficiency without sacrificing the performance of the rotary hammer. The rubber suction gasket is engineered to provide consistent contact with the work surface, where the dust is channeled to the clear dust container with HEPA filter which captures 99.97% of dust particles (size .3 microns). An added feature is a 3-second delay on the vacuum motor: After the trigger is released, the 3-second extended suction collects remnant dust and particles as the bit is being pulled out of the work surface, making it ideal for overhead drilling. The dust extractor attachment is removable and the rotary hammer can be used with separate attachments and dust extractors (sold separately). For reduced vibration, its equipped with Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT®). More than just a padded handle, AVT is an internal counterbalance that uses air pressure to move counterweight pistons in the opposite direction of the drive piston to actively reduce vibration. In addition, the vibration-absorbing back handle and side handle further reduce vibration. The result is a low vibration rating of only 9m/s², but with no compromise in performance: The efficient brushless motor delivers a full 2.3 ft. lbs. of impact energy, with 250-980 RPM and 0-5,000 BPM. The torque limiting clutch is engineered to prevent gear damage by automatically disengaging the gears if the bit binds, and constant speed control automatically adds power to the motor to maintain speed under load to complete the most demanding jobs. Additional performance features include a electric brake, variable speed dial, built-in L.E.D. light, and a retractable tool hook. For added durability in harsh job site conditions, Extreme Protection Technology (XPT) is engineered for improved dust and water resistance. It offers dust extraction capability with optional OSHA Table 1 compliant On-Board Dust Extractor Attachment (sold separately). It is ideal for a range of trades including mechanical/electrical/plumbing contractors, concrete contractors, road and bridge contractors, utility workers, pest control, maintenance operations, and more. It accepts SDS-PLUS bits. Its part of Makitas expanding 18V Lithium-Ion system, the worlds largest cordless tool system powered by 18V Lithium-Ion slide-style batteries. Makita 18V Lithium-Ion batteries have the fastest charge times in their categories, so they spend more time working and less time sitting on the charger. For improved tool performance and extended battery life, Makita created Star Protection Computer Controls. Star Protection is communication technology that allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions during use to protect against overloading, over-discharging and overheating. For increased versatility, the tool can also be powered by Makita 18V LXT® and Compact Lithium-Ion batteries with the star symbol on the battery indicating Star Protection inside.

When you place an order, a flat-rate shipping charge will be applied at checkout based on your order. The applicable rate will be clearly displayed before you complete your purchase.
Flat-rate shipping is calculated to reflect the cost of reliable, insured delivery. The rate shown at checkout is final — no hidden surcharges will be added after your order is placed.
For certain items, shipping costs are calculated based on the weight of the product. The weight of any weight-based item is listed on its product detail page.
For example, an item weighing 3.2 lbs will be rated at 4 lbs for shipping calculation purposes. This policy is standard practice across all major carriers we work with.

Orders are processed on business days (Monday through Friday, excluding statutory holidays). Orders placed after business hours or on weekends will begin processing the following business day.
You are entitled to cancel your Order within 30 days of receipt without providing a reason, subject to the processing fee structure described below.
The cancellation deadline is 30 days from the date on which you received the Goods, or on which a third party appointed by you (other than the carrier) takes possession of the delivered product.

A processing fee of 10% of the total order value will be withheld from your refund to cover payment processing, handling, and administrative costs.
If we cancel your order due to item unavailability, no processing fee will be withheld. You receive a full refund of the amount paid.
Refunds will be issued using the same payment method as the original purchase. No additional fees beyond those described above will be applied.

You should expect to receive your refund within four (4) weeks of delivering your return package to the shipper. In many cases, refunds are processed sooner. The timeline breaks down as follows:
We will process refunds no later than 14 days from the day we receive the returned Goods, using the same payment method as your original purchase.
If the Goods were marked as a gift at the time of purchase and shipped directly to you, a gift credit equal to the return value (less any applicable processing fee) will be issued. Once the returned product is received and inspected, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the Goods were not marked as a gift at purchase, or if the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves first, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.

Defective new equipment may be returned for warrantyrepair/exchange to us within (5) days of the shipment receipt date. After five (5) days, returns will be handled by direct contact and in accordance with the warranty terms of the item's manufacturer. Items that have malfunctioned due to mishandling, electrical overload, etc., will be subject to repair charge.
Non defective new equipment will be authorized for return within five (5) days of the shipment receipt date if the equipment is still in new, re-sellable condition with the original manual(s), accessories, packing material and carton. We reserve the right to reject returnsin which there is no original packaging, missing accessories, damage or visible signs of usage of the item. A restocking fee of up to 25% of purchase price may apply. Special orders and dangerous goods are non-returnable.
(Do not write anytingon the manufacturer's original package or use as a shipping carton. Include all accessories, manuals and warranties.)
