The 18V LXT Brushless 4-Speed Mid-Torque 1/2" Sq. Drive Impact Wrench with Detent Anvil (XWT18XVZ) provides improved fastening control and is ideal for automotive, installation, and fabrication trades. The impact wrench combines extended run time and speed control for unmatched fastening performance. It is powered by a Makita-built brushless motor for longer run time. The brushless motor delivers 520 ft.lbs. of Fastening Torque and 740 ft.lbs. of Nut-Busting Torque. Precise fastening control is achieved through the 4-speed power selection switch, which accounts for a wide range of applications. Three forward and three reverse rotation auto-stop modes offer increased efficiency, and can be set to automatically stop or slow rotation to help prevent over-tightening or over-loosening. The full-speed mode function reduces the trigger pull to reach full speed. These precision settings can be quickly adjusted on the control panel at the base of the handle. Makita's proprietary hammer and anvil impact mechanism are manufactured using the best raw materials with the highest quality steel and unique heat hardening process for maximum fastening and driving power. The XWT18XZV features Makita's Extreme Protection Technology (XPT), a protective seal inside the tool. It is designed to improve a tools operation in harsh conditions by channeling water and dust from key internal components. It is part of Makitas 18V LXT System. The LXT Cordless System, the worlds largest cordless tool system powered by 18V lithium-ion slide-style batteries, takes a user from power tools to outdoor power equipment to get the job done. Makita 18V LXT Batteries have the fastest charge times in their categories, so they spend more time working and less time sitting on the charger. For improved tool performance and extended battery life, Makita created Star Protection Computer Controls. Star Protection is communication technology that allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions during use to protect against overloading, over-discharging and overheating. For increased versatility, the tool can also be powered by Makita 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Batteries with the star symbol on the battery indicating Star Protection inside.
All returns must be authorized. Items returned prior to authorization will not be accepted. For international customers where applicable, customers must ship any returns to us freight and duty prepaid. Return freight charges for internationsl shippments will be the responsibility of the customer.
Defective new equipment may be returned for warrantyrepair/exchange to us within (5) days of the shipment receipt date. After five (5) days, returns will be handled by direct contact and in accordance with the warranty terms of the item's manufacturer. Items that have malfunctioned due to mishandling, electrical overload, etc., will be subject to repair charge.
Non defective new equipment will be authorized for return within five (5) days of the shipment receipt date if the equipment is still in new, re-sellable condition with the original manual(s), accessories, packing material and carton. We reserve the right to reject returnsin which there is no original packaging, missing accessories, damage or visible signs of usage of the item. A restocking fee of up to 25% of purchase price may apply. Special orders and dangerous goods are non-returnable.

We can ship to both US and Canada. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will charge a flat rate shipping for your items.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
