The 40V max XGT® Brushless Cordless 6 Paddle Switch Angle Grinder with Electric Brake (GAG08Z, tool only) delivers corded grinding performance without the cord for the most demanding applications. It is ideal for grinding and cutting a wide range of materials including tile, concrete, pipe, conduit, and more. An electric current limiter helps protect the motor from overload in high-torque applications. Additional features include an electric brake that stops the grinding or cut-off wheel in 2 seconds or less and Active Feedback-sensing Technology (AFT®) that turns the motor off if rotation of the wheel is forced to a stop. A paddle switch with no lock-on is convenient, while quick guard rotation provides tool-less adjustments for increased productivity. Anti-restart protection is engineered to prevent motor start-up when the battery is inserted while the switch is locked on. A soft start suppresses start-up reaction and provides smooth start-ups. Wire mesh intake covers are engineered to prevent debris from entering the motor. The GAG08Z is also equipped with Makita's Extreme Protection Technology (XPT), a series of protective seals inside the tool. XPT is designed to improve a tools operation in harsh conditions by channeling water and dust from key internal components. Reinforced metal gear housing provides additional durability on the job site. XGT is a system of equipment, tools, batteries and chargers utilizing 40v max lithium-ion batteries. XGT is engineered to deliver high power to take on high-demand applications, allowing users to completely transition to a cordless job site. XGT is equipped with advanced brushless motor engineering, intelligent digital communication, and superior durability features to outpower, outsmart and outlast the rest.

All returns must be authorized. Items returned prior to authorization will not be accepted. For international customers where applicable, customers must ship any returns to us freight and duty prepaid. Return freight charges for internationsl shippments will be the responsibility of the customer.
Defective new equipment may be returned for warrantyrepair/exchange to us within (5) days of the shipment receipt date. After five (5) days, returns will be handled by direct contact and in accordance with the warranty terms of the item's manufacturer. Items that have malfunctioned due to mishandling, electrical overload, etc., will be subject to repair charge.
Non defective new equipment will be authorized for return within five (5) days of the shipment receipt date if the equipment is still in new, re-sellable condition with the original manual(s), accessories, packing material and carton. We reserve the right to reject returnsin which there is no original packaging, missing accessories, damage or visible signs of usage of the item. A restocking fee of up to 25% of purchase price may apply. Special orders and dangerous goods are non-returnable.

We can ship to both US and Canada. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will charge a flat rate shipping for your items.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
