The TriggerSnap(TM) latch mechanism allows quick and intuitive one-handed operation for attachment and release of the snap shackle. Release under load is easily accomplished by using a spike to safely actuate the trigger.

Material selection and manufacturing processes have been carefully refined in the design and testing stages. Heat treated, investment cast 15-5PH stainless steel components offer high strength, corrosion resistance and durability. Each Ronstan TriggerSnap(TM) is individually proof-load tested and stamped with a production code for traceability.
